Triple Card Poker is an exciting version of poker. It features two games rolled into one. Online poker players can enjoy both the 'Pair Plus' and the 'Ante Game'. In fact both of these games can be played together in a single hand or a wager can be placed on each one of them separately. The betting limits in Triple Card Poker are a minimum of 1.00 and a maximum per spot of 200.00 and a Maximum of 600.

Getting started is a cinch. Simply place your bet by clicking on a chip and then clicking the Ante and/or Pair Plus button. Next click on 'Deal' and begin your game of Triple Card Poker. If you want to alter the bets in any way click 'Undo'; if you want to delete all bets, click 'Clear All Bets.' If you are feeling up to the challenge you can 'Double Bet' and double all your bets on the table.

The game gets pretty interesting at this point because both you and the dealer are dealt 3 cards. The 'Pair Plus' option means that you win, regardless of the dealer's hand, if you can show any pair or better. Naturally the payout is better if your hand is better. If you only bet the 'Pair Plus' option and did not place a wager on the 'Ante Game', then the hand is over and a new round of betting will begin.

The 'Ante Game' is the real deal. Here you can go against the dealer in a riveting game of Triple Card Poker. Click the Play button to place a bet equal to your Ante. Remember that you can always fold if your hand is weak. In that case you lose your Ante without risking any more money on your poor hand. Now wait as the dealer turns over his cards and the hands are compared.

Note that the dealer must show a high card Queen or better to play. If the dealer does not play, your Ante pays double, but your Play bet is a 'push' and is returned to you with no winnings added. Further, if the dealer plays, but your hand is better still, both Ante and Play bets pay double. And if the dealer plays, and his hand beats yours, you lose all your bets.

Triple Card Poker Payouts

Ante and Play: pays 1-1.

(Ante pays an additional Ante bonus for certain hands: a straight pays 1-1, a set pays 4-1, and a Royal Flush pays 5-1)

Pair Plus: pays 1-1 for a pair, and up to 40-1 with a Royal Flush.

Triple Card Poker Rules

Triple Card Poker features multiple betting options with realistic casino action. There are essentially 2 ways to place wagers in Triple Card Poker. There is the ‘Pair Plus bet’ and the ‘Ante bet’.  It is possible to place both bets simultaneously and hit a big win in the process.
Pair Plus Bets
The ‘Pair Plus’ bets are placed by selecting your desired chip wager and clicking the ‘Pair Plus Bet’ button. Next, click ‘Deal’ and you will receive 3 cards dealt face-up. The dealer will have 3 cards dealt face-down. Note that you win the poker game if you have any pair or better hand than the dealer on a ‘Pair Plus’ wager.
The following Paytable details the ‘Pair Plus’ betting schedule:

Ante Bets
The ‘Ante’ bet is placed by selecting the desired wager. This gets placed on the ‘Ante bet’ area. Next click on ‘Deal’ and 3 cards will be dealt face-up.
The dealer also gets 3 cards, but they are face-down. Depending on your hand, you can ‘Fold’ or ‘Bet.’ If you decide to fold you will forfeit your ‘Ante bet’ and ‘Pair Plus’ and the dealer’s cards will not be revealed.
The dealer needs to have a Queen or higher to qualify for the play. If the dealer's hand does not qualify, you will be paid even money on the ‘Ante bet’ and your additional bet amount will be returned.
However if the dealer’s hand qualifies the following rules take effect:

•         The house collects the Ante and Bet amounts if the dealer’s hand beats yours.
•         The player is paid even money on both the Ante and Bet amounts, if the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand.
•         If the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand are equal, then a tie results and the Ante and Bet amounts are returned.
An 'Ante Bonus' is given if a player hits a Straight or better. It doesn’t matter what the dealer’s cards reflect, even if you have won, lost or tied the game. Note that the Ante Bonus is added to any Pair Plus and poker hand wins.

Three Card Poker – Short and Sweet

Getting into a game of Three-Card-Poker is an adventure. Like all other varieties of the universally popular game of poker, Three-Card-Poker is loaded with excitement.
To kick off proceedings, the player makes his or her Ante and/or Pair Plus wager. The dealer will then hand out 3 cards to each player. And the dealer will deal himself 3 cards, face down. The player will have a chance to scrutinize his own cards.
Players making an Ante Bet must either raise the gaming stakes or fold accordingly. If the latter option is chosen then the poker player forfeits the entire Ante bet. But if the player raises his wager, then he is expected to make a Play bet. This will be equal to the Ante bet.
The Dealer will now turn over his cards and if he holds a queen high or better, he qualifies. Remember that as a player, you will win even money if the Dealer doesn’t qualify – on the Ante bet. The Play bet will then push.
However, if on the other hand the Dealer does indeed qualify then the Player’s hand is compared to the Dealer’s hand. Naturally the higher hand wins the pot. Now the game gets exciting. If the player sports the higher poker hand, then the Ante and Play will pay even money. But if the Dealer has the higher poker hand then both the Ante and the Play bets will lose.
A tie between both Dealer and Player results in the Ante and Play bets going to a push. In this instance, the player with a straight or better will receive an Ante Bonus – no matter what the Dealer holds. And the Pair Plus bet will pay out based solely on the poker value of the Player’s hand.

Ante and Pair Plus Bets in Triple Card Poker

Triple Card Poker is a fast and furious game of electrifying poker entertainment. It’s available at the click of a button, from the comforts of home. Play 3 Card Poker online and enjoy a veritable showpiece of entertainment extraordinaire. The game pits player against dealer in a show-stopping spectacle of fast-paced poker – just the way you like it. For newbies starting out with this game, it’s pretty simple to understand. What you’re faced with are 2 types of poker bets – the Ante Bet and the Pair Plus bet. Remember that you’re able to see all 3 of your cards – they’re all dealt face-up. Bu the dealer’s cards are dealt face-down – so you’re not going to see them.

Here’s where it gets interesting! As in standard games of poker, you’ve got to ascertain whether you feel the dealer has got a better hand than you. And unlike in games of Texas Hold’em, 5 Card Draw or other games where you’re going to be dealt additional cards, in this game you get what you get. The game is heavily dependent on what the dealer’s hand contains. So you first place your wager – anywhere from £1 to £600, then you wait for your cards to be dealt. If you see that your hand is poor – or unlikely to beat what you think the dealer is holding – you can fold and only lose the initial wager. If on the other hand you want to play, then click ‘Play’ and let the next wager be placed. You can win off both wagers you place.

Triple Card Poker in Action: There’s No Game Like It!

If you have already placed the Ante bet, then you have the option to fold or raise respectively. Should you fold your poker hand, you will lose your initial wager – otherwise known as the Ante wager. When you raise – which is what happens when you opt to play – another wager is placed which is the exact value of the Ante wager. The big moment comes when the dealer reveals his cards. If the dealer does not have a Queen or better, then he cannot play. The player will then win the Ante bet and the play bet will move to push. This is to say you will win on the Ante bet and receive your Play bet money back too. Pay tables in the game indicate what the player will win in the event that he/she holds a Pair, Straight, Flush, Three of a Kind and a Straight Flush. The payouts are significant in the Pair Plus option.
